You have full control over your data. You can delete your characters, chats, and personas at any time. We also provide a complete account deletion tool in your settings.

Secure Storage

We use industry-standard encryption and secure cloud providers (Supabase) to store your information. Your API keys are stored with your account and are only used for proxying requests.

Privacy First

Your private chats and characters are never shared with other users or used to train public AI models. We respect the confidentiality of your creative work.

Minimal Tracking

We only collect essential information required for authentication (via Discord) and to provide the roleplay service. We do not sell your data to third parties.

1. Information We Collect

When you use Locust, we collect the following types of information:

  • Account Information: Your Discord username, ID, avatar, and email (provided via Discord OAuth).
  • Creative Content: Characters you create, personas you define, and the history of your chats.
  • Configuration: Model settings, API endpoints, and API keys you provide to connect to AI services.

2. How We Use Your Data

Your data is strictly used to provide and improve the Locust experience. This includes rendering your dashboard, maintaining your chat history, and facilitating communication between the frontend and your chosen AI providers via our secure proxy.

3. Third-Party Services

Locust acts as an interface. When you send messages, they are proxied to the AI provider endpoints you have configured (e.g., Gemini, DeepSeek). These third parties receive the message content required to generate a response. Please review the privacy policies of any AI provider you choose to use.

4. Your Rights (GDPR)

We are committed to GDPR compliance. You have the right to access, rectify, or erase your personal data. You can delete individual pieces of content or use the "Delete Account" feature in your settings to remove all data associated with your user ID from our database permanently.
